Intelligent Flight OSD
The Intelligent Flight On Screen Display offers a highly configurable text overlay to video users. Our on screen display is designed to be a link between information and an enjoyable flight experience. Our research and beta testers made one thing clear above all else, users want to be able to see the information that is relevant to them quickly and easily, without information that they don't care about. With such a configurable interface, you can see information that is important to you, and place it where it makes the most sense for you on screen.
Intelligent Flight's OSD is all about you, your enjoyment and what you care about. We allow you to change the display to your needs, with such a diverse amount of information that can be displayed you can be confident that the information you need can be displayed.
In our store, you'll find that that our OSD is offered at a very affordable price, especially when you compare it to similar products on the market. Because we know your needs will not be the same as other people’s, we offer all of our sensors and power supplies separately to the OSD module.

Major Features
3 Voltage Sensors
We understand that monitoring one battery isn't enough when flying FPV. Our users wanted to watch a flight battery, and a battery powering their camera/transmitter. We wanted to exceed user expectations, so we allow you to watch 3 voltages at once! Intelligent Flight wants you to empower your to fly without glitches, so the third voltage input doubles as an RSSI indicator. If your r/c receiver supports it, you can see when your signal quality is dropping, rather than waiting for glitches or lock outs, this allows you to get maximum enjoyment and reduce the chance of an expensive crash.
• One voltage sensor doubles as a Relative Signal Strength Indicator for your receiver. If your r/c receiver supports this, a bar will be shown with your current signal strength.
• Up to 3 voltage sources can be connected to show voltage on screen. For example: Main Battery, BEC and video battery.
• Supports 0.1 volts to 40 volts.
Current/Watt Draw Sensor
There's nothing worse than having a motor die in flight, especially when your not close to home. Our OSD keeps a running tally of how much power you've consumed during the flight. This is a very important approach, so you can get back before your battery runs out. We wanted to take this capability to the next level for you, so a watt meter is also available on screen. Combining this with the amp meter lets you enjoy going full throttle without fear of damaging your motor, battery or speed control from too much current draw.
• Displays the current number of watts and amps you are consuming.
• Displays total number of milliamp hours/amp hours you have consumed, to a maximum 65.5amp hours. Automatically rolls over to amp hours from milliamp hours after 9999mAh.
• 0.1 amp resolution on current draw.
Up to 2 Temperature Sensors
Just like with the voltage monitoring, watching one temperature isn't enough. We let you monitor two temperatures, because you care about your motor and your flight pack, or perhaps you run two motors. Because we care about you the consumer, we use digital temperature sensors which are incredibly accurate. Other vendors offer simple, cheap methods of measuring temperatures at the same price, so why should you be settling for less?
• Ultra high accuracy temperature sensors give you exact temperatures.
• -40°c to 200°c range.
Dual Processor
Displaying text on screen is pretty processor intensive, so we offer double the power! With a processor dedicated to just the OSD you experience clear, crisp text which is small and unobtrusive. This leaves us a whole chip dedicated to taking GPS input, reading sensors and performing complex math. With the power of two chips we can enhance your experience through more complex sensors and math at higher speeds than in any other product.
• We have two onboard processors which can perform 40 million operations per second.
• You can be sure that the information on screen is to fully up to date, not lagging behind due to lack of processing power.
• Your video sync will never get messed up by our On Screen Display, a whole processor is dedicated to ensuring information is displayed in sync to give you the best quality picture.
Homing Arrow/Distance
When you realise you can't find your way back home, it's a frightening experience. Our users realised this and wanted a simple way to find home, that you can follow even when in a panic. We've delivered not only a simple, easy to read 8 direction arrow that points towards home, but also the distance to home. Depending on how you personalise your device, home can be the position you turn on the plane at, or set GPS co-ordinates.
• See how far you are from the point you turned on your aircraft, or a set co-ordinate.
• Never get lost, an arrow points directly back to "home" relative to the direction the aircraft is pointing.
GPS Integration
GPS is becoming common place these days, we've made GPS the core component of our OSD and we are able to utilise the latest breed of GPS modules. You want to be able to see up to date information, not a few seconds old as some chipsets offer. With the EB-85A GPS your information is updated 5 times per second. This shows information that's relevant to you, not aged data you don't care about.
• Current altitude
• Current ground speed.
• Number of satellites connected.
• Full tested support for 1Hz GPS devices using EM406 or EM411 chipset's.
• Full tested support for 5Hz GPS devices using EB85 chipset's.
3 Clocks/Timers
When flying, time is a very important factor, how long can you stay up with your fuel or battery capacity? We include a clock and two timers to give you the information that's valuable to keeping you in the air longer with the ability to still return home safely.
• See the current time on your display.
• See how long your electric motor has been running for.
• Displays how long the unit has been powered on.
OSD On/Off From Transmitter Switch
We understand you want to be able to sit back and relax, watch the scenery pass you by, or record video without an OSD. With the simple flick of a switch on your transmitter, you can choose to hide or display the OSD. Sometimes there are things more important than numbers, take pleasure in the scenery without anything to distract you, when you need the information on the OSD its available at the flick of a switch. This simple feature empowers you to enhance your experience without taking away any of the enjoyment.
• Turn off the overlay with the flick of a switch on your radio.
• Programmable positions for on/off switching.
Fully Customisable Layout
The purpose of our on screen display is to show you the information you care about. Every person wants to be able to personalise the information presented so it makes the most sense to them. Intelligent Flight grants you this ability with our layout editor. It's simple to move the information that's most important to you into a sensible place.
• Move display elements where you want.
• Add custom text/spacing.
• Drag and drop layout using configuration editor.
